While the OnePlus 5 launch will take place in China, additional pop-up events will be scheduled in New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Oulu, Tampere, Tarku and Copenhagen. OnePlus is inviting its Indian fans to the launch event. India in that manner is unique. The dedicated mute switch as well as the volume buttons can be also clearly seen on the left side of the OnePlus 5.
The company came up with a teaser for the launch event that carries a tagline "Focus on what matters". OnePlus announced last month that it was partnering with the DxOMark image quality rating site to enhance the photographic capabilities of its next flagship phone. The OnePlus 5 is going to be amongst us shortly.
Chinese smartphone manufacturing company OnePlus started grabbing the limelight after rolling out the OnePlus 1 which became the flagship killer after its release.
But what about actual OnePlus 5 commercial availability?
The renders also give away the dual-camera array, LED flash, secondary microphone and the traditional OnePlus mute switch. Securing those displays is hard for a smaller manufacturer like OnePlus, but there's a good chance that the company's going to pull it out of the bag. They seem to be hidden.
Meanwhile, in its invite OnePlus is trying to pull an Apple trick. There was a leaked retail box of this handset speaking about this duo setup on the phone, whereas few pictures revealed earlier that the device will sport twin rear cameras with an ability to shoot monochrome images. A series of leaks and rumours suggest a dual camera setup at the back is the biggest noteworthy change. OnePlus had confirmed that the phone will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform. Also it has been confirmed that the phone will come with a FullHD (1080P) resolution screen and AMOLED display. This will definitely run on Android N with Oxygen OS on it. The company's CEO, Pete Lau recently shared a night shot that has been taken with the yet-to-be-released product - and the result is quite stunning.
