Apple announced over 30 new iOS 11 features on stage at WWDC 2017 and we will see new iPhone 8 exclusive features arrive with the iOS 11 update this fall.

Aside from the AR experiences, iOS 11 brings iPad users the experience of customized docking, split view and slide over for fans who multitask on their gadgets.

Not only that, but MacRumors points out that iOS 11 will now give users some recommendations for clearing up space as well. As an added bonus, iOS 11 testers say Apple is finally letting users play GIF animations natively in the Photos app.

Moreover, Apple's iOS 11 Control Center has been the talking point which now lets you customize shortcuts.

iOS 11 will only work on 64-bit devices, meaning that older Apple products will be rendered them obsolete. In fact, it's a major reason we don't switch from the iPhone to Android. As with every iOS announcement, iOS 11 is being touted as the most feature packed update ever. So surely Apple will disable whatever it is that's not causing notifications to send and Snapchat will be able to create an update that would send notifications within screen recording mode. The move positions Apple to compete with popular payments apps such as Square Cash and Venmo.

For logging into any third-party app, you don't need to manually enter your details, the iOS is smart enough to log you into the apps using your Facebook or Twitter accounts. When activated (on the iPhone go to Settings General iPhone Storage) the feature works automatically in the background, but users can also choose to offload individual apps of their choosing.

On iOS 11 the feature is called Offload Unused Apps.

When news.com.au reported on the expected change earlier this year, a number of readers expressed disappointment saying they preferred the more compact size of the old device, which is notably smaller than its successors. The company argues that Apple Pay represents the gold standard for payment security, and doesn't want banks to be able to offer less secure solutions.
