Whether you agree with her decision or not, Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan Abasolo as the victor of her season of The Bachelorette. She said yes, he gets the young lady, and everything is wine and roses. She expertly navigated the expectations of viewers in ways that made her seem like the Obama of bachelor nation. "What guarantee do I have that it's ever gonna leave that stage?" As fans, we were on the edge of our seats watching Rachel Lindsay and Peter Kraus break up. "Apparently Rachel had talked about a pear-shaped diamond and this was her fantasy ring", shared Neil Lane, the ring's designer. Now, she's dishing on who she believes should be ABC's next star of The Bachelor.
"There were no arguments, so that's not really interesting TV", he told THR. I come out here, and I - I'm not going to lie. "Which is why everybody's saying she settled". "No longer do I have to hide the fact that you are and always have been the one for me!" Rachel, likely because of her lawyer background, knows how to give enough, but not too much, away. Most were Team Peter, but some did like Bryan through the whole season.
"No!" Rachel said immediately. He explained, "Rachel and I had a conversation onstage, and I think she's obviously in a very happy place". But I can agree with Peter. "I would do it all over again if it led me back to you". "I wish them nothing but the best".
Meanwhile, series host and producer Chris Harrison revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in July that they still have to decide who among the men from Lindsay's season will emerge as the next Bachelor.
"Yeah, that was the more normal response", says Sarah Fesberg, Lauren's sister. I'm in this because I want someone who wants what I want. And watching that, I was just crying backstage. I knew she would only be in love with one man and that happened to be me. "That episode was mind-blowing". "I think we probably would've resented each other for it if she had agreed". "I thought Steve Harvey was going to pop out with Peter and be like, SURPRISE!"
Truly, Bryan's proposition took the greater part of a couple of minutes though Diminish and Rachel's uncertain forward and backward dramatization took up a decent bit of the show.
Abasolo popped the question with a heartfelt proposal, which Lindsay accepted. We can't focus on anything that anybody else says on the outside.
But as far as starring in a spinoff, Rachel says, "I don't want to".
Mariam Dal clutches her photo.
"It was fantastic", she says.
Listen. I love Rachel. "At that point, I knew it was Bryan". "I think what Peter should've done is asked to go home earlier, weeks prior". I really think she's in love with getting engaged and proving people wrong than with who's she is marrying.
I duck past a few security guards and sneak through a few barriers, cutting toward the front of the line.
"At the end, it was not tough for me", Lindsay told People of making her final decision.
