Today, HMD Global announced Nokia 8 - Nokia's first flagship Android device in a launch event held in India. Even at that price, I was convinced Nokia was sure to have victor on their hands.
This phone also has OZO Audio combined with three microphones with exclusive Nokia acoustic algorithms to capture audio with immersive 360 degree spatial surround sound.
"Secondly, talking about the display of the Nokia, it comes with a 5.5" full hd display which is a common feature in smartphones these days even some cameras come with this feature. All the three devices are priced on the steeper side, but the Nokia 8 has got a flawless pricing. The phone has passed through the FFC in the US. But now with its killer price, HMD Global has made sure these omissions do not really matter. Priced at Rs. 36,999, the Nokia 8 is aimed at competing with OnePlus 5, which is the best smartphone under Rs. 40,000 until now.
The Nokia 8 looks subtle, elegant and classy - very Scandinavian so as to speak. It also has ZEISS optics and OIS. The smartphone has several highlight features, including its top-end Snapdragon 835 SoC, its dual rear camera setup and "bothies" camera feature, as well as its premium unibody design crafted from a single block of 6000 series aluminium.
The 5.3-inch QHD display is bright and vivid. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform with 4GB RAM DDR4X RAM and Adreno 504 GPU.
It is also the first device to feature a "Bothie", which uses both the front and rear cameras to record an image or a video. But that doesn't mean Nokia 8 is not tough and can not withstand damages.
For the camera capability, Nokia get-together with its old-mate Carl-Zeiss. Also, there's a Portrait mode and the lens are powered by Zeiss.
Nokia's positioned a 13MP snapper on the front and a 13MP + 13MP combination at the back for this objective. Nokia 8 is here to give its competition a serious headache. Most importantly, the our Pure Android story was welcomed by consumers.
The Nokia 3, 5 & 6, were all budget and mid-range phones but were overpriced for what they were worth.
The expected price of Nokia 7 will be around Rs 20,000. On the front, there's a 13-megapixel selfie shooter that is similar to the camera configuration found on the back. And at Rs 36,999, it comes off as a great deal.
