Pique was in tears on Sunday as he criticized the Spanish police after violent clashes erupted during the independence referendum that the Spanish government said was unconstitutional.
"When I've come (to the Spain camp) Pique has always had the same attitude, commitment and happiness", Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago said.
"We have a phenomenal relationship, and I would like if someday you see that".
"If the Spain manager or the Spanish FA think I'm a problem then I have no problem in stepping aside and leaving the team".
He added: "I am committed to maximum effort on the pitch and to demonstrate to the people I feel very proud to be in the Spain team".
Pique told reporters that he considered leaving but chose to play on.
"There's a political problem and we either find a solution through dialogue and talking or things will get worse".
Spain comfortably defeated Albania 3-0 in a match in which defender Gerard Pique, an outspoken defender of Catalonia who had been harassed by Spanish fans during the week, received a mixed reaction from the home supporters.
No matter how much Spain Coach Julen Lopetegui and the other players have tried to avoid the subject, it keeps coming back.
"Those whistling? There are many more who oppose their actions than those who carry them out, I am sure of it". He is available and he wants to play.
He was asked if the saw the contradiction in wanting Catalonia to leave Spain and yet still playing for Spain and he replied: "No, and I will give you an example".
The 2010 world champions are within touching distance of securing top spot in Group G, lying three points ahead of second-placed Italy heading into their final two qualifiers and boasting a superior goal difference over the Azzurri.
"We are soccer players and coaches, we have to be focused on our main goal, which is to qualify for the World Cup", Lopetegui said.
Pique won praise from many quarters after answering numerous questions in a frank fashion during that appearance and he was unsurprisingly named in the starting XI to face Albania by Lopetegui on Friday.
Spain have taken 25 points and scored a remarkable 35 goals from their nine Group G games, only dropping points in their 1-1 draw away to Italy past year, and travel to Israel for their final qualifier on Monday with their place in Russian Federation assured.
