People mix up global warming and global cooling. According to the book “Not By Fire, But By Ice” we will freeze to death before we melt.
The vast majority of experts believe we will freeze and melt hence the phrase climate change.
Last but not least, a few scientists are purly global warming fans and totally reject a future ice age.
I don’t know if we will freeze or melt or both. However, I am absolutly certain factory farming will play a role in our demise so I am cutting back on meat.

SLU has made numerous steps forward over the last two decades. I am especially happy with the high quality of entering freshmen as opposed to when I was there.
However, an online MBA is not one of those accomplishments. SLU should focus on retaining undergraduate programs as opposed to adding graduate programs. Why don’t they bring back majors in music, art,theatre {its a concentration}, finance, musical theatre, dance, and physical education?

Back when I attended Saint Leo College we were #9 in Division 2 men’s basketball. Football should never ever be played at a tiny college like SLU because we need to keep the focus on academics and a football program could be costly.

I hardly ever agree with that degenerate in the state house but he is 100% right about the future of liberal arts education. Nobody should get into debt for a degree thats really theoretical. The Anthropologists that criticized Scott are either uninformed, lieing, or pschotic!

As I see it, Greg, Dr. Pharr and I are partners in the organizing and running of the SLU Film Society. I assist him and he assists me in bringing six film nights and related cultural materials to the SLU community.

Hi Greg, I just wanted to add that I am the co-sponsor of the Saint Leo University Film Society. I am the other half of the “we” in your fifth paragraph. Shortly after the SLU Film Society was founded by Drs. Grimes and Pharr, I joined them as library faculty co-sponsor. Generally, I work on the publicity of the event, the logistics, related book and film orders for the library, and the hospitality (Benedictine Value).

In the spirit of accuracy, I thought you would like to know. Thank you for giving your readers information about SLU Film Society.

I think this article is very sad for the parents of everyone involved. I feel badly for Eric. I think the jail sentence is the least of his problems. He has to live with causing the death of two young girls.
