On September 23, Dr. Arthur F. Kirk, Jr. and assembled athletic staff ate lunch with Saint Leo University student athletes who academically were in the top 15 percent among all student athletes for Spring 2009 Semester.
Held at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, 37 student-athletes were honored with the lowest GPA starting at 3.69 and ranging upward to 11 athletes who successfully earned a 4.0 GPA.
“It’s all about time management, Liz Casey replies when asked how one balances school and academics. “ I’ve been swimming for fifteen years and have always had to learn how to balance my responsibilities and apply myself in both areas to be successful.”
Congraturlations to these student athletes!
