A shot from the crowd |
A Christian concert held every year that has grown to be to one of music’s largest annual tours.
It was held on January 17, 2010 at the St. Pete Times Forum. In past years, Winter Jam was held at the USF sun dome but was relocated to the larger location after having to turn people away at the door due to the large number of attendance.
This year featured artist such as Revive, Newsong, Third Day, Tenth Avenue North, Sidewalk Prophets, Fireflight, Newsboys, Robert Pierre, and guest speaker Tony Nolan.
Winter Jam brought a huge crowd to the down town area that almost filled the entire St.Pete Times Forum within 30 minutes of opening its doors. The concert ran smoothly with the artist keeping everyone on their feet. Each artist gave their thanks to God and briefly mentioned his glory. Before intermission, Tony Nolan spoke a salvation message comparing the exchange of a penny for $50 to the exchange of sin for eternal life and all the riches of the world. The night was full of praise and worship that had everyone excited and bursting with joy.
Winter Jam will be in back in Florida in Tallahassee on March 3, 2010. It will be at the Leon County Civic Center, 505 W. Pensacola St., TALLAHASSEE, FL.
The cost is $10 at the door. Concert begins at 7p.m.
